WordsMakers is fully transparent on how we quote a project. We will be going through the factors that are considered in the pricing of your project below.
Service Model: Per Page Pricing Model
Translations rates in Thailand are mostly charged based on page count. The main reason is because common word counting tool like Microsoft Word are not accurate in counting the number of Thai words, often registering more words or characters than there actually is. Hence, the per page model is the industry standard in Thailand for the translation of Thai documents.
A page is defined herein as such:
- Time News Roman Font with 1.5 spacing and font size 12
- Angsana Font (Thai Font) with 1.5 spacing and font size 14
- SimSun/中易宋体 (Chinese Font) with 1.5 spacing and font size 12
The above formatting results in approximately 350-400 words, or 1,800 characters a page excluding any images or tables.
For documents that includes a large number of images and tables, we can approximate the number of pages:
- every 400 words as 1 page
- every 1,800 characters as 1 page
Revisions
We strive for customer satisfaction by providing free revisions of the translated documents up to 3 times within the 2 weeks after the work is delivered. Free revisions do not cover any changes made to the source document after the translation has started.
